Scat Belt Griz

The Scat ® Belt GRIZ is the original Bear Spray Belt®. The best-selling bear spray belt in the world, and after more than a decade of keeping outdoor adventurers safe in bear country, the 2026 design has been refined to be approximately 10% lighter without compromising a thing. The same legendary no-bounce fit. The same instant bear spray access. Now even easier to forget you're wearing it. The 2026 model drops the small zipper pocket and elastic strap to hold the retail price. Fits 7.9 oz ( 225 g) and 9.2 oz (325 g) Bear Spray Canisters. Made from premium materials proven in competitive trail running and technical climbing, the GRIZ hugs your waist without riding up, sliding, or creating pressure points — even on your longest days out. A breathable mesh backing sits against your skin while an abrasion-resistant nylon outer shell handles whatever the backcountry throws at it. A secure smartphone pocket keeps your phone on your body and out of your pack, accessible within seconds. Bear safety expert Kim Titchener relies on her Scat Belt GRIZ every time she heads out. Outside Online called it elegant. Thousands of trail runners, mountain bikers, and backcountry hikers call it indispensable. If a bear, cougar, or coyote approaches, your spray is at your fingertips — not buried under a rain jacket in your pack.
